Beginning Band is our foundation for the band programs at both Central Baldwin Middle School and Robertsdale High School. In 6th Grade, the students at the various Elementary Schools have the opportunity to choose an instrument and learn the fundamental skills necessary to succeed on their respective instrument! Through the band setting, we build character, friendships, and grow young musicians into leaders. Throughout the year, the students will learn how to read music, master the fundamentals of their instrument, and prepare for the CBMS 7th Grade Band playing standards!

The Beginning Bands perform twice a year, once in the Winter and once in the Spring. At these concerts, the Beginning Bands have performed famous melodies from Harry Potter, Star Wars, and many other famous soundtracks!
